A very traditional and highly appreciated recipe at Minas Gerais parties.
Ingredients
- 1 kg of pork belly
- 4 crushed garlic cloves
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Hot oil for crisping
Preparation method:
Season the meat with garlic, lemon, salt, and pepper.
Let it rest for 1 hour to absorb the seasoning well.
Place in a baking dish and put in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 1 hour, until the meat is tender.
Remove from the oven.
Heat oil in a pan and carefully pour it over the skin of the meat to crisp it.
Serve while still hot.
