Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside — impossible to resist.


Ingredients

  1. 500 g of cooked and mashed cassava
  2. 1 egg
  3. 1/2 cup of grated Minas cheese
  4. 1 tablespoon of wheat flour
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Oil for frying


Preparation method:

In a bowl, mix the mashed cassava, egg, and cheese.

Add the flour and salt and mix until a firm dough forms.

Shape small fritters with your hands.

Heat the oil over medium heat.

Fry the fritters until golden brown.

Remove and drain on paper towels.

Serve while still hot.
